Alexis' Bridal Shower

I had sooo much fun making these for Alexis' bridal shower last week! I cannot wait for her wedding! The flowers are going to be fabulous! She was ecstatic when she saw these!

Crowne Plaza Bridal Show Highlights

The blue vanda orchid shown here is an awesome true violet great for an exotic purple!
I added diamond pins to the center of these lavender roses and designed this bouquet with peonies, stock, ranunculus, Picasso callas, and ornamental raspberries! I love fruit with flowers, even if its not edible, it looks so cool!
Jeweled Brooches are still a great way to add dazzle and BLING!

This bouquet with lavender anemones, purple lisianthus, and purple/blue hydrangeas stole the show! I added purple jeweled velvet butterflies and an antique marcasite crystal brooch.

This bouquet is a sample of Brittany's bouquet for her September wedding. Let's hope the anemones come in!!! If not the purple vanda orchids above will be her substitute. I'm hoping for the best! Anemones are hugely popular, but available from Nov-April...with a few stragglers in the off months.
This bouquet is # 2 to steal the hearts of many girls. Some loved the orange and purple (which is HUGE right now), while others loved the fact that they wanted roses and stock in these exact colors.
A tall garden style centerpiece with dark blue/purple hydrangeas, lavender roses, white snapdragons, cream stock, and seeded eucalyptis on our silver stand (available for rent).

What a fabulous show we had yesterday! We met over 125 brides and it was wonderful seeing new faces, as well as some I can now call friends! I love how I become close enough to my brides that we share things like Christmas cards and pregnancy stories:) Let me show some photos from yesterdays events. The fashion show was awesome! It was great having the models carry my flowers down the runway!

Lindsay's Wedding January 9, 2010 in Pitman

What a fun wedding! Lindsay was crazy about these Black Baccara roses! We did simple, clean hand-tied bouquets of only roses for Lindsay and her bridesmaids. To glam it up a tiny bit, we added silver shimmer glitter and also crystals accents! Her pews were so much fun! We did tight clean kissing balls with solid burgundy carnations tied to the pews with white double-faced satin, then finished the look with more silver shimmer! The damask fabric was my favorite, I LOVE black and white patterns like this (so much that I have curtains exactly like this in my upstairs hallway!). We accented the black bridesmaids dresses (which had a damask sache) with this fabric and it looked AWESOME! Congratulations to the new MRS!!!

2010 Forecast! PURPLE!!!

History always repeats itself and one of my favorite colors has finally come back! Purple is such a beautiful color and I can't wait to work with gorgeous lavenders and plums and violets! I really look forward to Ashley's wedding next month since we'll be using lots of lavenders with sweet peas, roses, and peonies, which are some of my favorites! Im including some photos in my inspiration collection that are some popular color combos with many romantic varieties. Hope they inspire you like they have inspired me!
