Aqua and Cobalt: Lindsay and Chris's Cape May Wedding at The Grand Hotel

I am beach lover so any chance to "work" at the shore is a chance to relax, even
if I am "working". I met Lindsay years ago, as she is one of my neighbors in the town of Elmer
and her mom has an amazing little sign company that we love to use. So I was thrilled when
they approached me about doing their flowers for their Cape May wedding! Lindsay and Chris
chose to incorporate different blues into the wedding, so they chose a cobalt blue for the
bridesmaid's dresses and also the men's ties. I loved her bright bouquet of aqua dendrobium orchids and white phaelenopsis orchids. All of these gorgeous photos are by the amazing Tami Melissa Photography!

Lindsay looks stunning and her bouquet turned out awesome!

Her bouquet was created with dark purple hydrangeas as a base, then
designed  with massed blue dendrobium orchids. The white phaelenopsis
orchids soften the color.

I love these dresses! Lindsay's bridesmaids carried bright
white bouquets of roses, stock, and mini callas.

Lindsay's bridesmaid Shannon, pictured here, was also one of my
brides. She and Lindsay's brother had a gorgeous Cape May wedding too!!!

Chris wore a blue orchid, while the men wore white mini callas.

I love Cape May and the water looks amazing here.

The ceremony and reception took place at The Grand Hotel in Cape May. Lindsay
and Chris had a rooftop ceremony overlooking the ocean and it was gorgeous. We decorated
the space with arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, and orchids. These tall silver pedestals
are available to rent from Savannah's Garden.

The chairs were lined with more blue orchids.

The centerpieces were so pretty. We created tall arrangements with white
hydrangeas, blue dendrobium orchids, white Tibet roses, and a ton of white
phaelenopsis orchids. Adding blue orchids into our rented pilsner vases
brought the blue down to the linen, were more blue orchids were sprinkled.

The cake was decorated with more blue orchids and it looked super pretty. I was so happy
to be part of your wedding day! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family's day for a
second time!!! Congratulations again!!!

Purple & Turquoise: Carly's Aqua Orchid Wedding at Clark's Landing Yacht Club

I love, love, love these orchids! Carly squealed when she saw her bouquet! I created it
with a purple hydrangea base and added 50-60 aqua dendrobium orchids. I added satin loops
and then finished it with a sleeve of diamond wrap.

 So gorgeous!

These gorgeous photos by Tyson Trish Photography in Blairstown, NJ.

The bridesmaids carried primarily white with pops of aqua.

We massed white football mums with added aqua orchids as the pop of color.

The ceremony took place at Christ our Light Church in Cherry Hill. We decorated
the pews with more aqua orchids.

The reception took place at Clark's Landing Yacht Club in Delran, NJ. We added aqua orchids to
the venue's faux centerpieces so there were aqua orchids throughout the space. We added more blue
orchids to the cake too.

Such a fun wedding and one of the sweetest brides I've worked with! So happy you loved
everything Carly, Congratulations again!

Bright and Beachy: Gina's Aqua Inspired Wedding at Congress Hall in Cape May

Gina held a sweet and simple wedding during a gorgeous August Monday! She is brilliant for doing this and I wish more girls got married on Mondays! Sounds crazy but I LOVE it! Her ceremony and reception were both held at Congress Hall in Cape May. All of these gorgeous photos by the amazing Tina Markoe Photography!

Gina was the sweetest girl to work with and she loved one thing, blue dendrobium orchids! I created a clean cascading bouquet with only white and blue dendrobium orchids.

The ceremony took place on the lawn. I love Congress Hall and it's one of my favorite Cape May venues, you can have your wedding face the historic hotel or the ocean.

Gina's bridesmaids carried aqua umbrellas in place of bouquets, very clever for beating the August sun!
The aisle was decorated with these adorable aqua swirly mason jars filled with white spray roses.

Congratulations to you both!
