Aqua and Cobalt: Lindsay and Chris's Cape May Wedding at The Grand Hotel

I am beach lover so any chance to "work" at the shore is a chance to relax, even
if I am "working". I met Lindsay years ago, as she is one of my neighbors in the town of Elmer
and her mom has an amazing little sign company that we love to use. So I was thrilled when
they approached me about doing their flowers for their Cape May wedding! Lindsay and Chris
chose to incorporate different blues into the wedding, so they chose a cobalt blue for the
bridesmaid's dresses and also the men's ties. I loved her bright bouquet of aqua dendrobium orchids and white phaelenopsis orchids. All of these gorgeous photos are by the amazing Tami Melissa Photography!

Lindsay looks stunning and her bouquet turned out awesome!

Her bouquet was created with dark purple hydrangeas as a base, then
designed  with massed blue dendrobium orchids. The white phaelenopsis
orchids soften the color.

I love these dresses! Lindsay's bridesmaids carried bright
white bouquets of roses, stock, and mini callas.

Lindsay's bridesmaid Shannon, pictured here, was also one of my
brides. She and Lindsay's brother had a gorgeous Cape May wedding too!!!

Chris wore a blue orchid, while the men wore white mini callas.

I love Cape May and the water looks amazing here.

The ceremony and reception took place at The Grand Hotel in Cape May. Lindsay
and Chris had a rooftop ceremony overlooking the ocean and it was gorgeous. We decorated
the space with arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, and orchids. These tall silver pedestals
are available to rent from Savannah's Garden.

The chairs were lined with more blue orchids.

The centerpieces were so pretty. We created tall arrangements with white
hydrangeas, blue dendrobium orchids, white Tibet roses, and a ton of white
phaelenopsis orchids. Adding blue orchids into our rented pilsner vases
brought the blue down to the linen, were more blue orchids were sprinkled.

The cake was decorated with more blue orchids and it looked super pretty. I was so happy
to be part of your wedding day! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family's day for a
second time!!! Congratulations again!!!

Aly and Jay's Wedding in LBI on July 3, 2011

I loved working with Aly and Jay for their summer beach wedding in Long Beach Island this past July.  These gorgeous photos are courtesy of Jordan Brian Photography!

Aly looked amazing!

Her bridal bouquet was gorgeous! We used asiatic lilies, roses, orchids, fiddles, and lime button mums.

The bridesmaids carried dahlias, garden roses, orchids, peonies, green trick, and button mums.

It was a gorgeous day on the beach for a wedding with our signature bamboo purgola.

Aly created her own starfish decor after seeing other weddings where we created these. They are a great DIY option for beach decor!

Cymbidium orchids, Free Spirit roses, and gerbera daisies added color to the posts.

Such a happy moment for an awesome couple!

I love the beach :)

The men wore yellow cymbidium orchids with a fiddlehead to accent.

The reception took place at Sea Oaks Golf Club in Tuckerton, NJ.

The centerpieces were bright and simple cube vases filled with loads of bright flowers. The cobalt linen made the colors pop amazingly!

We used gerbera daisies, roses, orchids, lilies, hypericum berries, fiddles, and yoko ono button mums. Such a fabulous couple and beautiful wedding! We loved being part of such a great day! Once again another great event with  Bel Momento Events! So happy for the awesome couple! Thanks for letting us be part of your day!

Rachel and Philip's Wedding on May 15, 2011

More beautiful photos by Blue Eyes Photography! Rachel and Philip were married at Running Deer in Pittsgrove, NJ. I LOVED her colors, cobalt and aqua with peacock feathers to accent. We used green antique hydrangeas, blue hydrangeas, light and dark blue delphinium, white gerberas, and parrot tulips.  Rachel looks gorgeous!

The groom wore a gerbera daisy with a peacock feather to accent.

Love these colors. The flower girl carried a flower wand created with only antique hydrangea blooms.

More photos to follow! Thanks for letting us play and make some awesome flowers!
