Canary and Pewter: Jessica and Kevin's Summer Wedding at Pond View Farm

Let me start first by saying this is absolutely one of my favorite weddings of 2014. I
think I  kinda lost it a bit when I saw these glorious photos too! Jessica is one of the
sweetest  brides I have ever worked with, and when she booked me to do her flowers
for her summer wedding, I was more than excited!!! Summer is my favorite time of year because
there are a TON of gorgeous, local flowers, and I am happy that most of her flowers came
from local farms, and even a few from my own garden ( hint hint: that HUGE white dahlia right
smack in front in the photo above). Please enjoy these stunning photos by Tina
Jay Photography, Tina completely captured the beauty of the day!

I LOVE seeing photos from Tina's weddings, because there are so many great flower
photos that I can't even choose. So I just put all my favorites!

I designed the bouquets with dahlias, zinnias, crespedia, asclepias, ranunculus, scabiosa, tulips,
chamomile, dusty miller, queen anne's lace, mini gerberas, and more wildflowers. Jessica gave
me creative freedom so I was in my glory making these!

The bouquets were wrapped with a grey burlap and a yellow satin knot for
the bridesmaids and Jessica's bouquet was wrapped with ivory burlap and
finished with a pewter satin knot. I love this look and it's a great way to add
more color to the bouquets.

Kevin wore a white ranunculus bloom with grey dusty miller and burlap.

Ok, so get ready to be blown away by the scenery for Jessica and Kevin's first
glance. The ceremony and reception took place at Pond View Farm in White
Hall, Maryland. This place is gorgeous, like every inch of it!!! I wish it was closer!

They had the most gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding, the weather couldn't
be more perfect!

Jessica and Kevin make a gorgeous couple and they look so happy!!!

Jessica looks like a true Southern Belle!!!!!!

I love the yellow bouquets against the grey dresses.

I am in love with the bouquet for the mother of the bride, I think it's such a fun way
to bring in more color to the photos.

Seriously, how gorgeous is this place???

Because I am obsessed with the south and weeping willow trees. I can just take
a deep breath and feel the warm sun right now ( really missing summer right now).

Jessica along with her family and friends created the floral decor for the ceremony and
reception. Girls ( and guys ), you did an AMAZING job!!!

This place is out of a dream.

Absolutely adorable place cards! Kevin's family are farmers with a feed store
so these adorable cows are perfect!

Jessica and Kevin had this adorable thumb print tree, complete with the little chocolate lab,
custom created by Rebecca from Wing and Willow. She is a childhood friend of mine
and no one compares to her artistic creativity. Check out her Facebook Page to see how she
customizes these trees, such an awesome keepsake! And a big thank you to Jessica and Kevin for allowing me to be part of your wedding day! Congratulations to you both!!!

Peonies & Succulents: Erin & Mark's Rustic Wedding at The Old Mill in Rose Valley, Pa.

Erin's wedding was without a doubt one of my favorite weddings of 2013. There were so many gorgeous details that were rustic and earthy, and it turned out simply perfect!

Erin carried primarily ivory hydrangeas, peonies, spray roses, ranunculus, and added color with beautiful lavender succulents and pops of green. LOVED IT!

The girls carried gorgeous bouquets with coral peonies, pink peonies, peach and pink roses, succulents, lamb's ear from my garden, hydrangeas, and hypericum berries.

I love these colors! These fabulous photos are by Root Photography from Nashville, TN.
The ceremony took place on a gorgeous summer afternoon at The Old Mill in Rose Valley, Pa. It was a stunning venue and I hope to go back!

We created two arrangements for some color in front of the bamboo background.
It was a gorgeous place and even had a stream right next to the ceremony.

Erin and her mom Sally, one of the sweetest people I've ever met!
I snapped this quick photo in the two minutes before the Erin walked down the aisle. I was so happy to catch such a great photo for her!

I created centerpieces to match the bridesmaids with a lot of the same flowers
like hydrangeas, peonies, and roses, and placed them on top of our iron flower stands.
Erin's mom decorated loads of vases and bottles with twine, fabric flowers,  and burlap
and everything looked stunning!

Congratulations to Erin and Mark! I absolutely loved every minute of working with you guys, and Sally too!
