2010 Forecast! PURPLE!!!

History always repeats itself and one of my favorite colors has finally come back! Purple is such a beautiful color and I can't wait to work with gorgeous lavenders and plums and violets! I really look forward to Ashley's wedding next month since we'll be using lots of lavenders with sweet peas, roses, and peonies, which are some of my favorites! What a great year 2009 was!

What a wonderful year 2009 was! It was full of lots of fun weddings, my 5 year wedding anniversary, and the birth of our first child, Ethan Ryan, born in October. I am so excited about what 2010 will bring! Ive had lots of calls with many different themes and I can't wait to start playing in my workshop on all these weddings! A Fun Red Birthday Party!

I had such a fun time setting up this party at Lucia's in Vineland for Ann Conte's 13th birthday. I did 3 submerged red Freedom roses in a cylinder vase and suspended them with gold wire, with red marbles in the base, and a floating candle on top. I finished the look with fresh red rose petals around the vase, then lit the candles. What a pretty room! I LOVE Lucia's! They have awesome food! My good friend Kristin from Bel Momento put together the finishing touches, like the candy table, and the fun little signs! I'm so happy they loved the centerpieces! The chocolate cakeballs (from Bakeworks) were to die for!!!

Sarah's Wedding on September 12 in OC

Sarah and Mike's wedding in Ocean City was so great, Im adding a few more pics in addition to my previous post. I am noticing a lot of brides who are doing black dresses with bright colors for 2010...the perfect blank canvas! Sarah chose gerberas as her focal flower, and just this morning another bride went with her same look! I am so looking forward to wedding season 2010! So far lots of calls and lots of bookings coming in, very exciting!

Miranda's Wedding on October 24, 2009

Miranda's wedding was so much fun to create, using some awesome fall favorites. It was great working with her and her family, especially since her father knows my father, and he was our DJ at our wedding five years ago (Harry Snyder, Music Machine, Pittsgrove, NJ). Im so happy everything was exactly what she wanted and the colors looked great! Congrats guys!

Virginia's Wedding on October 3, 2009

Virginia's wedding was absolutely gorgeous and these dresses were perfect with the bold fall hues. We used chocolate cosmos, Mango mini callas, red hypericum berries, Circus and Leonidas roses. These gorgeous pictures were sent over to me afterwards! I love it!

Sarah's Wedding on August. 30 in Lancaster, Pa.

This wedding was great! Our great friend Sasha's little sister Sarah was getting married up in Lancaster at the Willow Valley Family Resort, and it made for a perfect long weekend since we love Lancaster! Sarah loved the clean look of white mini callas for the entire event. The champagne dresses were the perfect complimenting color, keeping everything soft and subtle.
