Laura's Wedding at Running Deer on July 17, 2011

I had a blast doing Laura's Sunday morning wedding at Running Deer Golf Club. Laura's cake was decorated with loads of ranunculus, green hypericum berries, green trick, and prince's feather.

It's a good thing I have 5 years under my belt as a cake decorator. One of the things you will learn very well is how to save cakes that are almost destroyed and make them so pretty, no one knows how they looked before. This cake had an accident. We don't know who the baker was, or why they left the cake in an unmarked box, and on the floor. Who does that? So the girls at Running Deer asked if I could fix it, and I knew I could no problem. So I put the tiers back together, and covered all the seams and then added flowers where the icing had been destroyed. I was sooo happy with the final product, and so were Heather and Tara at Running Deer, and so was the bride and her parents! It was a good day :)

Her centerpieces were super cute! We added curly willow tips into clear rectangle vases, then loaded it with seasonal flowers. This is another one of my "bright wildflower weddings". I love them! I used hydrangeas, lisianthus, garden roses, ageratum, freesia, zinnias, ranunculus, and loads of other flowers. The day turned out gorgeous! The professional photos will be posted on my blog soon!

Samantha and Dave Part 2

I wanted to share some of my photos from Dave and Samantha's wedding at Running Deer Golf Club in July. I just blogged her wedding two blogs back, and her vintage library themed wedding turned out beautiful! This is one of my favorite photos of the day. My baby is the sweetest thing in the entire world. I love when he helps me! He is the best part of my job!

The cake was from The Sweet Life Bakery and it was adorned with gorgeous wildflowers!

Her tables were so much fun!

Each stack of books was a different group of colors.

So pretty!

Renee's Wildflower Wedding on July 8, 2011

I actually took three photos of this bouquet because I used so many flowers, you couldn't see all the varieties in one photo! I worked with Renee's sister Grace and I was confidant they would love what I put together. We were going for "Bright Wildflowers". So how did I do? Here's what Grace said : I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate your time and patience with my last minute order.  The bouquet was beautiful!  It was truly the work of a seasoned artist.  Thank you so much!

In this shot, you can see: Limelight hydrangeas, fever few, blue hydrangeas from Holland, peonies, ranunculus, cornflower, English Lavender, delphinium, prince's feather, and dianthus green trick.

In this photo, you will see, purple hydrangea, silver berzillia berries, crespedia "Billy Balls", purple corncockle, lady's mantle, buplerum, veronica and nigella. This bouquet was so much fun to create! I love my job!

Rachel and Eddie are Married on June 11, 2011 in Pitman, NJ

I loved the flowers we created for Rachel! She wanted soft colors of all wildflowers. We used loads of different flowers like peonies, astilbe, craspedia, delphinium, sweet william, ageratum, fever few, saponaria, asclepia, cornflowers and alliums. As always, these fabulous photos by Laura Leigh Photo!

Love these flowers!

I love all the textures!

The shoes and dresses look awesome together.

The guys went for a cool, simple look and wore simple ranunculus blooms.

I am so into old stone houses, so I had to include this one.

And Laura took this photo at such a cool angle.

Rachel carried only peonies and we wrapped her stems in aqua ribbon.

We created a simple natural arbor for the ceremony. We will post some reception photos soon! Thanks for allowing us to help make your wedding so gorgeous! And thanks to Laura for taking these amazing photos!

Jessica and Andrew July 24, 2009

This event was so bright and colorful! Like I said, totally the most popular color combo this year! I love blinding color! The tables were so cute and very cost-effective! The bride bought votive cups and we filled them with tiny hand-tied bouquets of all the bright seasonal flowers you see in the garden this time of year! Im a freak for anything Shabby Chic so I went crazy about these candelabras. It was so pretty and elegant, but fun and flirty at the same time!
